How can I solve this USB power issue so that all of my USB devices work while my laptop is plugged in? - gateway tablet pc, does it have bluetooth on it
I have a Gateway Tablet PC CX2610, which is very good and everything works, but I had problems with some USB devices that I have. I bought a USB hub, so I can connect the following devices in all at once in touch:
- Bluetooth USB
- Microsoft Optical Mouse
- Printers
- Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX external sound card
- Dock for iPod (Obviously, separate them when not in use, but it works like a radio for my iPod, making it a lot)
- 250 GB external hard drive
- VGA to S-box graphics
... Well, two days ago, I bought the VGA to S-box works and that has excellent graphics. Just wonderful. But if it did not work, I discovered that my external hard drive and the printer does not, it seems, the S-video adapter - the one usedThe USB port only for power - has too much power to recognize my computer with other devices.
I screwed around with a stick you found any other device, and that everything still works fine if you only have 2 maybe 3 connected devices - but it seems it is a major attraction for this graphics card can not compensate. When you disconnect only that, everything seems to work well, so I must solve this problem in two ways:
1. Find an alternative energy source for the video card, or
2. Find a way for my laptop can provide enough power for all devices.
Either will work. For the second option, probably not for the purchase of additional equipment or any other kind of adapter I have a tendency to thaNot one, but, well, how can the amount of power going to USB devices is not limited, and that any work immediately?
